Let me get this straight, you can sit at home collecting welfare and food stamps and not be required to thake the vaccine but if you have a job and work you are required to get the shot. Am I understanding this correctly?
Railroad knows no one will stand up.Too many people needs paycheck most r.r. live week to week and most don't have wewells to stand up for what they feel is right.. some one said let's do what airline did yea we will see how many follow through..I bet you won't get 8% to stand up and not get Vax.
Yeah. Just another condition of employment. Guess you are correct still about drinking on the job. But clearly you can take dr-gs. Now we’re forced to take experimental dr-gs or you’re disqualified medically. You guys can take the clot shots if you want. I’ll fight for your freedom to choose.
What about all the railroad contractors?
It's just another condition of employment. You can't drink or do dr-gs on the job. You have to wear hardhats, safety glasses and ear plugs on most jobs. If you don't like these rules and regulations then find a new job. The Railroad will fill your vacancy when needed.
This company is running short handed on purpose right now,,,,PSR remember? They can't afford to lose many more employees. Southwest cancelling flights. How many Trains would UP have to cancel?

I will not comply If anyone has any info on uniting to shut this place down. Post it. I’m in the north. Big blue toilet area (Chicago) many of us will not comply. Want to know what my southern brothers are up to

They know people are going to walk off the job, fritz and the executives know and are using this to reduce head count further while expecting everybody that remains to work even harder. If everybody had the ba--s to strike like Southwest we could cause serious harm. Also instead of striking if all railroaders would follow every rule to a T, report defective equipment instead of turning a blind eye no matter how little, and stop trying to save the railroad we could accomplish that. I knew when the vaccines first came out and companies were starting to require them that they were going to require us to get it as well, but they were waiting for the government to mandate it first so they would be in less legal trouble. The last quarterly report said we were at 55.1% operating ratio and this is just an excuse to drive it down further, it'll never be enough
Well I hope they're prepared for massive vacancies then. If they or anyone has been watching the headlines, then they should know that quite a few corporations have tried imposing the mandate and failed.
