that sucks, did ye get any severence?
Apparently this layoff was in the works at the beginning of 2021. While we were working and sometimes after hours and weekends to meet the customers needs, they were preparing to lay off over 100 employees in September, including me. Over 20+ years of service and it was gone in a day. No severance, no benefits, and not even a thank you for the years of service. It's like being left to drift in an ocean and no one cared. The ones that were kept with the company are struggling knowing that at any moment this will happen to them. My advise is to start looking now and get out while you can. It's a totally different company from 20 years ago and without a heart. So if you apply and get hired be on guard as it won't last.
