What’s the back story here? Everett finally getting pushed out after failing to do much of anything except force a bunch of good employees and leaders to leave the company???

Missing EC's email on indigenous peoples' day - could always count on him to pander to the D&I crowd. The legacy here includes eliminating tenured employees for an HQ move to Chicago (mu---r capital USA), setting up zones with redundant functionality and bogus titles (including GE paid office space as empty as Jeff Immelt's second jet), creating a VC mess that isn't sorted out 9 months into the year, and a value creation/value delivery "vision" that no one understands or cares about. Presumably he was cut, bringing back memories of his failed attempt in the majors. Next up: thinning of the anti-vaxxer crowd and pink slips just in time for the holidays:)

He's going to have to update his LinkedIn profile. It starts "Highly respected strategic global President & CEO..." Maybe he should ask someone else's opinion.
