Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

This is worrying to me

As an employee, this much attrition is worrying to me. Colleagues are leaving and this has started to affect my work more and more. On the other hand, I haven't noticed that a lot of new people are coming. It does not seem to me that the leadership is particularly concerned about this. Will a higher attrition rate lead to higher hiring or is TD continuing to bury people with work for several people?

You're not even an employee. Why waste your time on here?

Why are you guys staying there and working under such toxic circumstances? Lots of jobs are available if you look. I left before getting rifd and love my new company. No company is perfect but it feels so good to be treated with respect and feeling valued.

As people have pointed out, they are not able to hire in USA and also in India.

Their offer is not competitive to current employees and they are not competitive to new hires too.

So this entire cultural transformation is in my opinion, just a bs which they have no idea what they want to transform.

As like thousand other initiate they have started, i am confident its not going to move the needle anywhere

The agile process will squeeze 500% more work out of each person. No need to hire any more.

How are going to hire good people? Who would want to come here? No new customers. No new employees. Stagnant situation
