These clean out never touch the real problems, grade 12 and above

In our org, middle-graders have been transferring to better schools in droves on their own. K-5 sign-up has been real slow, and it's mostly special-ed kids whom you cannot touch. 9-12 have been dropping out as well. Hard to see where PG could cut more without having to close the school.

Ok – college students, including Ph.D. candidates and especially MBA candidates, are back on the board.

Babies, toddlers, rug rats, curtain climbers, and grade schoolers are all safe.

From what I hear all grades, K-12 will be on the chopping block.

Game time approaches. Guess we will all find out soon if we've brown-nosed the right people.

You have been brown-nosing, right?

Confirmed.
Higher grades levels will be hit the hardest. Also Non-degreed engineers. Flush the higher grade levels, doesn't matter time or ranking. We can bring in RCG's cheaper.

They don’t have people to layoff, most of the engineers have left to other companies with inspiring leaders and interesting products.

George Davis was the layoff king at Qualcomm. He likes to cut US heads in lieu of lower cost GEOs. Not new but he’s exceptionally cruel at it. First you might have a spans and layers flattening with mid manager layoffs. Next any job that can ship overseas will get warn notices. He’s cracking down on finance for every penny over budget, a million ars on headcount. His salary isn’t cheap so he’s going to keep cutting to make sure he still gets paid.

There is indeed "All managers H2'21" in managers' calendars. Seems to be regular thing, not layoff.
