Thread regarding Optum layoffs

They are actually anti-managers

A manager who constantly focuses on what was done wrong, and never how much is done well... a manager who absolutely focuses on micromanagement of his employees instead of looking at what the competition is doing... a manager who thinks you should be happy to have any job at all... one that makes people leave this company and manages by fear - isn't that almost every manager here? I call them anti-managers.

the company we work for loves giving us t-shirts, mugs, paper, hats and golf ba--s and other American junk with the company logo on it. We can't pay our rent or kids braces with that US garbage and will never use it. Just give us cash---living wage, real benefits, employment contracts, protections.

@3kfs - that explains my career trajectory here after rebuffing my ex-boss.

Qualifications to be a manager in my division were you were a decent looking female that went drinking and dancing with the male bosses when road trips to client sites were required.

Not almost every manager here. But yes, there are too many here in management that fit that description. A good manager will build up and help employees. The fear factor is useless destructive behavior.

Sounds like my old supe.

Refused to even apologize for HIS blantant errors. Instead flipped it to be your fault.

Disgusting.
