Thread regarding Kyndryl layoffs

So many job postings, Is Kyndryl growing this fast ?

Looking at the Kyndryl career website, I see so many job postings. Are they real? Or just for publicity ?

I just did a job search on the Kyndryl Careers page for my skill set - I was encouraged at first to see 178 openings that matched (over 12 pages worth). I quickly realized though that nearly all of these openings were for Bangalore. Upon applying the filter to just the US (where I live), it went down to just 8.

How sad is it that a once well regarded American company like IBM has done this to itself, its workers and its country?

I have referred several experienced people and so far not 1 email/callback.
Sounds like these openings are all BS to me.

No. Management stated we are going to shrink until 2025. Management has also said we are going to double automation from 25% to 50%.

That means heavy layoffs and / or attrition expected prior to any hiring. Even worse with hiring factored in.

Real. But seemingly haphazard from my perspective. Sales are down and continuing to hire without work. Management seems disconnected from this. Just hire and make the hiring numbers.

Its because so many people are quitting. Some finding better jobs others just fed up.

They only needed IBMers to start up the company so their plans are to swap 25% of the workforce with new/non-IBMers.

The same sh-t that IBM does... It is all smoke and mirrors!!

Kyndryl is going down in flame (see the latest results)... it better find a suitor to get acquired quick. It will end up in some Indian company hands in the next few years.
