Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

It should be enough

I can't speak for the entire company - although I suspect it might be the same everywhere - but attrition is worse than it ever was where I am. What I don't understand is, with so many people leaving on their own, how is it not enough? How is there still a constant threat of layoffs and how do I hear about more people being cut all the time? Is the goal to reduce costs - which is achieved through attrition without backfilling - or to get rid of everybody?

Experienced people are leaving here all the time, and replaced by inexperienced juniors with zero experience. This is sad to see, but no surprise for a company in big decline.

It is a simple reason people leave, Juniper punishes success. Finance hate Sales people doing well, and set unachievable targets after any initial success. It has been the same for 7 years. Sad as we should be kicking a@& instead of shrinking

It started probably back after KJ left. We had that insane CEO who was trying to sell us out - or so we eventually found out and then RR stepped up. We HAD a plan but everything was SDN this and SDN that well here we are almost 10 freaken years later and we're still pushing SDN and no one gives af. we were supposed to reach 10B but yeah... we havent moved since KJ left lol.

We've been sitting HERE complaining instead of using the yearly climate things they put out that we JUST had to do. Now, whether or not those numbers are manipulated is beyond me. I'm starting to see the "good ol' boy club" in full force. I'm about to go out in flames. I've been fked over and over again and its really sad that they tell you "you have to leave and come back" in order for this company to pay you right. tf i do.

Get out while you can... look at the stuff thats not making the news, we were just sued by the SEC because someone blew a whistle a decade ago, i dont think so. I think there is much more to this story we dont know about and a lot of inside deals we arent privvy to because money > people. Its clear as day. Weve been in debt for a very long time. VERY long time. If not now, when?

Them pushing the Vax was a silent layoff and also the most horrendous thing anyone/company could do. SOOOO many people came to me thinking they were stuck because they have no where else to go. THEY WENT OUT AND GOT THE SHOT BECAUSE JUNIPER/WH EO FEAR PO-NED THEM INTO IT. I'm sick of this psychological operation. SICK TO DEATH of it. The intimidation tactics people have used on that alone is disgusting. "it's safe and effect" yeah so is crossing the street but that doesnt mean i want to cross the street either, so call me names idfc. JUNIPER should be suing the federal government for coercing that sh-t. Anyway, thats not what this post is about.

They stopped listening to their employees a long time ago. The C-Suite cares only about themselves and their metrics. I assure EVERYONE of this. I'm not a number, are you? I CANNOT TELL YOU THIS, you have to see this for yourself... i can sit here and "yammer" all day long but you have to be able to see it for yourself and it sounds like the OP does.

Crash and burn its happening... start looking folks - sorry for the fear po-n but its happening.
