TDC Transition to IBM - Has it Started Going Well Yet?

Just curious, the transition to IBM doing the premises support, has that finally started getting settled down?

Has the GSO organization been able to hire and train enough individuals to provide walkthroughs/live phone support for all the various hardware issues?

How have the 'small' (under 12 node) system upgrades been going with IBM doing them? How about those bynet cable issues, has IBM learned how to find and replace those without causing more issues yet?

Trying to decide if I should dump my TDC stock...

Fake news. Show us the “internal spreadsheet”. What a joke. IBM is kicking bu-t.

So with an internal spreadsheet with WELL OVER 1000 known support failures/issues (mostly IBM being incapable of doing the simplest thing) we have some anonymous person telling us just how "GREAT and PROFESSIONAL" IBM has been?

Hah, one of TDs largest clients was absolutely livid with the transition to IBM as that customer has such a poor relationship with IBM they've all but banned IBM from being allowed to touch their equipment.

Anyway the propagandists in marketing are going to have to work over time to shovel over the elephant in the room...

TD Team, you can downvote all you want, everyone can still read the negative comments and your transparency is sickening.

The ship is being prepared for dismantling at the yard or will be found a new owner and possibly IBM.
Seems like marketing team is busy disliking anti teradata comments .

Congrats to new marketing head on account of Black Friday ;)

They're handling it better than those "endangered over 40 white males" of TD

Ahhh the old Teradata SLA con game. Written to protect Teradata and fool the customer into thinking they are getting value. As long as Teradata delivers worthless reviews and stats, SLA is not missed. What a joke.

That's great! So they've finally stopped blowing SLA's then?

They are doing a great job. Much more professional in appearance and actions. They have Teradata Change Control Specialists supporting them remotely through any Upgrade or Expansion. Now if we can just get the maintenance costs lowered….. Their move to outsourcing on site support was genius.
