My humble advice to Citrites that were let go is to try and get over the shock as soon as you can. I know it's easier said than done but you are each talented individuals with several skills gained working at Citrix and elsewhere. The initial shock of this process clouds your perception of self worth. Rest assured that you are uniquely valuable to a multitude of organisations out there.
When I was let go 5 years ago it was a shock to my system. I found myself doing the proverbial dancing with Sarah i.e. Shock, Anger, Resistance, Acceptance
& Help
The sooner you get through these phases the sooner you are going to be able to reinvent yourself and embrace new opportunities. I assert this because as a 20 year veteran at Citrix I know the quality of the folk who have been part of the various disciplines. Here's to the next chapter of your career.
