Is there is a lot of attrition at Raytheon right now? I am surprised that there is not a lot going on in my area since a lot of these defense jobs require the employee to come in person. If I was a an engineer then I would just take a remote job in the tech industry with better benefits more pay. Just curious to see what is happening across the company.

It's really tough to give you an informed response to your question as I've been separated from Crapeon for several years. However.....
Since Raytheon was about ready to fall on its face in the '90s before it acquire two important parts of Hughes, I'd say the egress of the Hughes heritage folks is now exposing the cracks in the traditional Raytheon organization. This is of course hypothetical. Of course one would start to assume it's more generational as Boeing (Boi-ing!), Northrup Grumman (throwup grubby), and Lockheed Martin (Lockup Management) are all starting to show some major leadership, and execution problems.
I'm sorry this doesn't answer your question, but it is tough to break through the PR veneer that these companies have to be able to pinpoint all of their problems. Of course, if we could then the government probably wouldn't be contracting with them. 8).
Maybe ala révolution. We execute all of the managers and promote the engineers?
Very little high-end talent at that location.
