Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

Stock Price

The stock price is up $3 over the past month and it's not based on the earnings release.
All kidding aside about the ridiculous promotion of the new SVP, the reorg of segregating the Health and Hospitals business under the CEO and everything else under the Pres/CFO
clearly is setting the company up to sell off one of the other and there seems to be activity driving the stock price up !!!!

Looks like the TouchWorks new business sales team landed a nice new BIG deal per the below press release. Congrats to them !!!
When will the Sunrise new business sales pony one up ?

Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) announced today that Next Level Urgent Care has selected Allscripts to improve connectivity, provide better electronic health record (EHR) workflows and greatly advance analytics to all of its locations. All Next Level Urgent Care's facilities will implement Allscripts Touchworks(R) platform as well as Microsoft Azure hosting and services.

What new business Sunrise deal has this TEAM sold in the last 3 years other than Mercy Iowa in March.
This needs to be a previous non Allscripts customer !!!
Your up !!!!

Either way, the picture would be grim because MDRX as a public company with no growth in the Sunrise base as proven by the SVP and LT with ONE (count it ONE) new deal in the last 3 years, there would be limited new revenue growth other than converting some on-premise customers to Azure. Converting the existing hosted customers to Azure is just a move of location and might have a minor uplift in revenue but doesn't move the needle.
The Paragon base will dwindle away over time as it has been 3 years since the acquisition and they have only been able to convince less than 5 to convert to Sunrise. Moving to Meditech, Cerner Community or Epic Connect is cheaper, quicker, and more proven.
So, that is the long-term picture if they sell off Veradigm / Ambulatory whether RP stays or goes, however, the company will be much better off if he stays because at least he has a good business head vs the CEO's new "CONFIDANT".....

If they do sell off the Veradigm / Ambulatory business, does RP go and run the business for the venture capital firm that buys it, or does he stay as the Pres / CFO of the remaining public company?
To be honest it would be scary if he went as part of the deal and the CEO and his new SVP were left at the helm to steer the ship because he wouldn't listen to anyone else.

Slowly but surely we're coming back. Celebrate this or leave and get another job.
