Grade 7 employees should feel happy that now most grade 7 employees earn almost the same base pay as grade 8 :)
Keep working hard grade 8 guys, no raise for you.

Many people are hearing that Director got target to hire. They are ok to hire any sh**t from AMD, TI, Samsung, QCT or any other company . All PIPed candidates are coming to intel.
Pat has just 5 year to fill his bags full of $$
@1mxk - Thanks for your lies, fake news and propaganda message, HR.
@1mxk: why not claim you are a VP or above, because nobody can verify your claim or post?
All grade 8, who are critical are secured - I am SLM and I know this.
RSU > $150K given + Many Grade 8 got at least 11-19% salary hike already.
Grade 3-7 -> 7% is good enough since at lower grade engineer impact/output is less.
So guys don't feel bad - Now all intel engineers around 79% got lot of money - Intel is paying way better.
So STOP this BS now. Intel is back
People who are not critical ( who are left out) knows what to do next . Prepare and get out of Intel. Very simple.
Grade 7 SWE who left last year for better opportunity. Even cr---y startups in the Bay Area pay 30% higher than Intel even factoring in this 7% increase. And if you are in FANG, depending on how you are leveled, 50-80% more. A couple of years back I remember RK and NR in an AIPG meeting admitting that they found it hard to recruit or retain AI SWE talent. Well, it's the compensation stupid. Who remember's BK saying that they aimed for 65% compensation in comparison to competitors? Meanwhile BK was selling INTC stock like it was in a nuclear meltdown (like the chip vulnerability). Good riddance Intel. Hope you choke on your third tier toilet talent as you swirl the toilet bowl and join Kodak and Nokia.
is it 7% adjustment what should make 3-7 happy? 😁
Is G8+ already well paid? Or G3-7 are actually producing results because they are not all talking only?
It's a desperation move to keep younger hires in the G3-G7 range (particularly in high-demand areas such as SW, HW, AI) from moving to other companies, don't think it will be successful. At best it will keep them a few months more at Shitel while they keep looking for another job in a better company. Shitel is completely fcked up.
raise? because they know they are in trouble. Dont fall for Pat's trap. He is a clown
Maybe G8 raise is coming??
