full time associates might be a thing of the past with coming $15 a hr in most states.
they can hire PT and pay no medical or any other expensive cost. the can cut a ton of money by getting a new CEO who can run a company to make it profitable also. but that's just a Christmas miracle of 35 street... ya know the street around the corner with all the laid off Macys employees.

I agree with previous poster. Most retailers only give full time hours to management positions and all other employees are usually part time or variable hourly. This cuts payroll expense and health insurance expense. Hopefully, this won’t be the Macy’s way.
The future of retail is part time, open availability, with no benefits. It's basically becoming unskilled labor. Been heading this direction for awhile now and will continue to do so. Just look around at all the other retailers.
