So I heard those that are still with the company we’re told that they offered us another role with SA.com. That’s a lie, it was a 4min call and they shut off our mics, camera and chat option on teams.
We were told they are simplifying the regions and with that, after 6pm we no longer have access to our computers. Expect a package in the mail by this Friday, they were mailed out already, any questions call HR.

Not 100% true. OD does. Or have much of a packaging division and all those at Staples were let go

Check associate connection under job summary. Mine said I was terminated before we even had the meeting.
We came back from an install and was told we were shut down. Half of us immediately let go, told about the package arriving by Friday. The other half were told if they stay for the remaining 5 months to get remaining orders done and close up the warehouse, they get a package and bonus. If they leave before that time, they get nothing.
As a former associate with friends still on the inside, Sycamore basically ceased project furniture operations. Other than key accounts going to HiTouch there will no longer be a Contract Furniture Business.
Watch now for the remaining business units to be sold to Office Depot. It was a trimming of units OD already has.
