Please clarify statementabout outside sales. Are all KAMs and TAMs now inside sales? How about the business development rep?

I left on my own 3 years ago after GTM transition in which I went from 10 million portfolio to 3 million. I was told I would make more money in the comp plan that the company hadn't figured out yet....pull my other leg it's got bells on it. My hope is everyone impacted lands on their feet in a better situation. There is life after Staples...I was 20 plus years with the company.

Furniture Department gone. Anybody in non-furniture positions who can honestly say they feel the least bit secure going forward? Won't surprise me within the next 12 months if other non-furniture aspects of the business start being shuttered. Whatever. This company has been mismanaged at the top for so long - literally over a decade - that it's amazing it has limped along for as long as it has. The Sycamore purchase several years back just forestalled the inevitable by a few years, and over the past several years Sycamore has loaded up the company with debt acquiring other companies...covid bought another couple years, but eventually Staples will go third party for everything. Fleet was already laid off once under the old ownership: the new ownership will do it again. Retail has been a joke for years. May take a couple more years to happen, but it will. Senior management rotating in and out of the company faster than most people change their socks. Who is the CEO Du Jour? How long will he be in that position? Another 6 months? No long-term vision other than to be competitive with Amazon...pipe dream at best. Staples would be better off if Amazon just flat-out bought us out, canned the senior management who were responsible for the multiple missteps over the last ten years that have flatlined this company's prospects and the hourly employees took their chances. Hey, here's a great idea! Staples should still try and merge with Office Depot! Because one ship taking on water increases their chances of survival by tethering themselves to another ship taking on water. Sad, but when the company finally sinks, it will have deserved it.

ALL outside sales folks are now inside sales folks with up to 20% cut in pay.
Less thank a year before total collapse or sell off.
Sycamore has dirt on their hands and flat out does NOT care about employee's lives. Just their pockets,
GET OUT NOW!
