Does anyone know who are the companies (or where to check them) included in the non-compete agreement signed upon hiring?
Upon recent (and not so recent) events, I'm finally deciding to start pursuing other opportunities but I'm afraid Citrix will retaliate somehow as they did in 2017 with sharefile folks.

In the UK, if your employer terminates your contract, the non-compete becomes void. They can't put you out of a job and then restrict you trying to find work, may be different in the US of course but hopefully someone reading the thread will benefit.🙏
Holy fu-k dude, just let them sue you. They'll lose, just like they did for Egnyte.
Don’t tell them sh-t. You owe them (or any employer) nothing and no explanation for where you are going.
You can’t be serious. Get a job wherever the he-l you want. Smh
When I left several years ago, my Citrix supervisor insisted they had to know what employer I was going to in order to complete termination paperwork.
If it had appeared on a list of competitors, I would have been required to talk to a Citrix lawyer prior to my end date.
Still, my new employer panicked over the situation, and insisted on seeing copies of my Citrix NDA, a list of Citrix job duties, etc. Don't know if someone from Citrix contacted them or what the panic was about.
In the US, the burden is on the employer to prove that they experience a material financial disadvantage of an ex employee joining a competitor. Courts generally favor the employees and there has been a lot of bullying. Citrix is not know to be bad in this area, though. Enforcement is virtually non-existent. Like the previous post mentions, make sure you don't retain any files, content, IP that you created, etc.
Non-competes are incredibly hard to enforce. People have left Citrix and gone to direct competitors for years, even at the executive level.
A huge part of the lawsuit from 2017 was related to the fact that the people who left had downloaded corporate documents prior to leaving which they then took to the competitor. Just don't download a bunch of work files before you put in your notice and you'll be fine.
Do you really think Citrix legal is going to come after 600+ people if you joined a competitor? No way.... I thought legal was impacted too by the layoff... At this point, its best to find another job IMO....
Are you in NC, if so it's a right to work state so you can leave for competitor but cannot work your last two weeks from my understanding
