Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Layoffs trending along racist lines mostly affecting brown asians

It has been well known for many years there has always been a lot of animosity against brown Asians by Citrix employees especially the management in white and Kuban circles.
These layoffs are a dream come true for the white and Kuban managers as they are first laying off all the brown Asians first followed by token other races, but no whites.
This layoff is completely along racial lines and is an opportunity for the racist Sh-trix management to express there feelings about diversity.
So much for all the inclusion and diversity cr-p they have been spouting all this time. Ultimate hypocrites, go to he-l and d—.
Brown people , rise up and defend your dignity.

If anybody who was currently laid off or gets laid off in the future truly feels they were laid off because they were discriminated against because of race, ethnicity, and/or gender and gets offered a severance package, DO NOT ACCEPT IT AND GO SEEK LEGAL COUNSEL! You do have federal protections under EEOC against that sort of behavior. If you can't make a case about it or already signed the agreement, then just let it go and move on with your life. This is the main reasons why any corporation offers severance packages with NDA's! Its because they are trying to treat you with "the utmost respect." They know that they can't control what you say publicly about the company anymore and they're buying your silence. Either put your severance money where your mouth is and go for the lawsuit or just sign the piece of paper and walk off like the little salary slave that you are knowing you sold out on the chance to stand up for yourself just for another check. Threads like these accomplish nothing but fooling yourself into a false sense of assurance that you have some sort of spine.

This is a really d-mb statement. Anyone factor in that the company demographics are disproportionately brown Asians? When one demographic is much larger than the rest, an equal cut across the board may seem to affect that group more than others, when the reality is that group seems to get hiring preference in order to make up such a large percent of the workers.

Such an assertion is ridiculous. Citrix may have it's many issues getting it together when it comes to its direction. Race or national origin is NOT a relevant factor. In my time there I have only experienced active appreciation for diversity. Respect for all is a highly held value at Citrix. If anyone is going to bash Citrix, please do it for the right reasons, not falsehoods.

I’m also white (and good looking) with a degree from University of FL ….. go gators! And was axed yesterday. Please refrain from this stupidity that only brown people were impacted.

This is patently ridiculous. There have been layoffs across all teams in all countries. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the company being horribly mismanaged. Don't make a horrible situation worse by inflaming it with rhetoric like this.

Perhaps management finally realized that when you invite the third world, you become the third world. I wish my government would wake up and realize this.

I would be interested to see the data behind it--to see if any truth is behind the racist statement. I am a person of color and was laid off today.

While I don’t like to respond to these type of inflammatory ‘racist’’ comments I have observed a disproportionate amount of brown Asians affected by the current layoffs.
Maybe it’s just me but there does seem to be some truth in this post.
I feel so disappointed and disheartened by the behavior of severely incompetent management in the company .
