Confirmation- the Furniture Department for Staples has been cut and some will work until April/or July 2022 to assist with closing. It appears all work will be sourced out. It was fun while it lasted. Good luck to all..

Today in history, RQD declared that we, the largest furniture dealer in the Nation, will no longer deal project furniture. Instead of stepping aside from her new difficult role as a furniture dealer VP, she threw in the towel, said she didn’t want to do project furniture anymore, and eliminated hundreds of furniture sales and design positions. When asked what would happen to current customer’s projects, she replied she had’t even thought about it. She and her monotone friend will be VPs of selling the stocked furniture available online. Online orders are frequently cancelled without notification. Good luck!!

Wow! Project furniture gone… I remember leaders saying it was the only profitable category. When are the going out of business signs going up?

Hey HR - I wan't my fu----g backpay from last February you slimy fu--s. I worked my a-s off as a I.S. with the lowest pay in the store, coming in at 13% ZB. It's $1500 from a multi billion dollar company. (NO LONGER EMPLOYED DONT WORRY)

To all the TRUE contract furniture folks who have come and gone Staples never understood the industry, and more importantly would not LEARN the industry. Ed Bonner and few other gems really tried to lead the way, but if it didn't fit in a Staples red box of paper it wasn't going to happen.
