A person who would have a hard time getting a job here before has become a superstar employee, and an employee who has great skills and does great work doing the job he loves has become invisible and irrelevant at Q. How did that even come about, and why!?!? If things continue to develop in this direction, Q will very soon become a ridiculous company in which no talented person will want to work.

Great engineers? Can you name one invention Qualcomm has done that has been great since CDMA? One should realize Qualcomm only exist today Bc of Donald Trump blocking Broadcom form taking over and lawyers keeping an outdated business model in tact.
No great things have occurred that would bring new revenue steams in over 15 years
Qualcomm already is a ridiculous company with political hucksters occupying the top leadership positions. There are a few talented engineers but in a sea of sinecures they only flourish after leaving. Performance is rewarded only if it isn't perceived as a threat to the old way of doing things.
You seem to suffer from mental illness. You work at a commodity company - no one does great work - you just grow oranges! Unless you work in legal no one at Qualcomm has done anything great in almost 15 years!
