Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

How did the severance package handle RSUs?

For those of you that were impacted and had RSUs, did Citrix allow them to vest early? Or are they just gone?

Yes completely gone. It’s unfair. At least it should be prorated. Anyone want to fight for it together?

Anyone below VP level loses their unvested RSUs.

Not entirely gone. It depends on your package. I was let go after 20+ years, and my package says that I will become fully vested in the RSUs that would have been vested in the next 12 months.

Make no mistake, it was a decision to not honor RSUs. They could have done so as part of the restructuring.

When you take a pay cut from RSU being invested, or 401K match gone. It’s time to leave. 20% pay increase walking out the door.

No doubt that is unfair given the more favorable arrangements provided to some. I will say that It’s only after you’ve left do you begin to realize the true extent of the awful environment. It is far from normal. Hopefully everyone will be ok and in time will look back and feel that regaining your sanity, joy of life and passion for meaningful work, positive relationships, mental health, etc is priceless.

I'm not a lawyer, but I would be surprised if they could if they wanted to. Why do you think they rushed to "restructure" before the next tranche vested?

They are gone . Any unvested RSUs are forfeited. A shame, really - as they were an important part of total target compensation for many.
