When you have employees who were not hit by layoffs praying to get laid off or willing to swap with someone who got the invite maybe you should really take a 2nd look. LOL The problem isn't us but the culture you have built. In the 8 years I have been at Citrix I have never seen more friends and coworkers wanting to leave with that severance package. From all of us Citrites to you upper and ELT management, you all suck. All of you are out of touch from the ones who have to get dirty to make that money for Citrix. All you do is force the new flavor of the month down our throats until you get a stupid metric to look good to justify your promotion or bonus while us Shitrites get nothing right? All we get is told to do the next thing because the SVP said so because the CFO or someone else said so. Then you take your parachute with a package of millions plus stocks. GTFO of here. Don't worry I am planning my own escape. I didn't get hit so far but I have my plan in place. Good luck trying to manage no one at this rate. Peace!

Henshall might have come off a little cold, but he is still better than what we have now.
Haha! What comes around, goes around. It’s about time Citrites rally and tell the company enough is enough! Rise up!!!
dip dip potato chiptrix. ELT will laugh their way to the bank no matter what.
Great post. Multiple people I've spoken with wanted a severance package but didn't get one. Hey ELT, good luck trying to manage the folks who no longer want to be there! The joke's on you.
Agreed and i know ELT watches these pages like we do. Hope they get the message. They should open it up to people who chose to leave
Henshall was a clown - trying to optimize for the stock multiple instead of the simplest, most effective value: customer success. Make your customers successful: everything else flows from that.
I like this post.
It's raw and true.
So who is going to speak up at the GEM tomorrow? That dirty unpolished GEM that's full of S!#% people trying to give excuses for their own unaccountability.
As someone who's been with the company for 5+ years I couldn't agree more. Go back and look at the board's earnings and then our raises, promotions, etc. We purchased Wricke for a billion dollars and they don't even know what to do with it and yet we're laying people off?
Citrix doesn't give a sh-t about it's employees. It's all about the ELT bonus and stock price. I realize Citrix is a business and needs to earn a profit but paying David 30 million to leave? Board members have given themselves more and more money while we suffer.
The worst part is they just don't care.
Citrix has a long history of propping up those who engage in inappropriate behavior and a complete disregard for the truth in its communications and claims. All in all, it's an old clunker up on blocks in a dilapidated yard, and can only find usefulness being sold off for parts. To those having a tough time today, you're better off.
I heard HR was hit but was the head of HR hit? Citrix needs a serious culture change and that starts with the head of HR.
Would be funny if they just opened it up and did allow people to volunteer….. wonder how many would be left.
They are so out of touch! They left us high and dry. Last year was a good year and what happens. We get nothing good for bonus and then we buy a company for 1 billion...... Yet CEO cashes out his payday $1.5m in stocks. Come do my job and tell me how you deserve the money you got when we are the ones who make Citrix run.
