Thread regarding Emerson Electric Co. layoffs

I'm enjoying this

I think lots of managers are finally noticing that this is a sinking ship and are now taking it out on the rest of us. After all, where else will they find a better job than here? None of them have any relevant experience or knowledge. Their only advantage for the management jobs was knowing the right people. I doubt they'll be as lucky anywhere else. I'm willing to take any abuse they throw my way just to watch them squirm as they contemplate their future, which is anything but shiny.

I’m guilty of shadenfreude also.
I didn’t like the way I was dealt with or the way the business was handled so I quit a couple months ago. I love my new employer and the new work.

I’m not sure MESC will suffer terribly, but neither will they prosper. I think they strive for mediocrity and hit the bullseye every time

Same at P$$. Bad leaders now look worse when things are terrible. They just cr-p on everyone else.
