As a contractor to the Federal Government, the NA Site Committee has decided we must comply with this Executive Order. Given the continued disruption caused by the pandemic and similar policies enacted by major US employers, Lenovo is requiring all US-based personnel (employees and contractors) to be fully vaccinated. As a result, by January 4, 2022, all US employees and contractors must provide proof that they have received their final dose of an approved vaccine. Employees who cannot receive the vaccination due to medical or religious reasons may request an accommodation for this employment requirement. More details on Lenovo’s Vaccine Policy and the process to upload proof of vaccination or request an accommodation will be shared next week.

Don’t reply. It’s private medical information. It’s a HIPPA violation to request.
No, it is not a HIPPA violation if Lenovo asks for your medical records.

I’m hearing that anyone refusing to comply by the deadline will not get severance or unemployment. Does anyone have more details about this?

What Kool-Aid would that be?

@ltr+1dMSwoUP: People like you are the reason Covid-19 hasn't been eradicated yet. Get the vaccine. It's been out for over a year. It works.
Do the Christian thing and just get vaccinated!

What was initially posted is exactly what we got. I got it at 5:48 pm CST
This email was really sent to employees today.
Several have received emails asking for a voluntary response now before the deadline. In a rush to figure out what impact this will have I guess.
Exemption, I will, I won't, I don't know.
I’m calling “BS” on this one. An announcement like this on this particular forum is unlikely. Good try, mo--n.
I’m surprised they did this after a federal court blocked the order. Does anyone know if they’ll sc--w us out of severance?
