Anyone would care to chime in with a prediction about potential PPG layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

PPG Stores are a complete disaster especially in the California Market. I feel sorry for the independent PPG Dealers that are caught in the middle and will be left holding the bag.

Thumbs up on the other comments. Rumor is PPG will be closing a vast majority if not all architectural stores in mid 2023. Architectural coatings will be continued to be pushed through the HD channel. Enough evidence already that this will occur. I.e. expanded commercial/contractor products being sold through the HD that were originally PPG store products. Just about any other comment on this site supports the continued closure of company stores.

Continued mismanagement from up above at PPG while Sherwin Williams continues to dominate the Architectural market. PPG has lost its way.

It's an absolute disaster for the stores business.

Why is the stores and HD deal going to be a disaster?

Who really cares? Dysfunctional management, unaware of what really matters to customers and employees, doesn't. The recent HD partnership with Stores is going to be another disaster for sales but employees can't speak up. Ridiculous company led by ignorant tyrants.
