Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to Weatherford layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

It looks like ceo girish is actually making progress towards survival. He may turn this thing around if he can continue getting Saudi work
Oilfield service companies come and go...wft actually died about 200 million dollars ago. Probably almost uninsurable
Ill be surprised of wft makes another year
Wft had a shot at very lucrative long term contract for about 6 product lines and blew it because of junky equipment. 800 wells and they gave it away
in regards to the rumors that they might shut down Canada. Is it the whole geozone that they are talking about or specific divisions? i know the branch i work at does very well in terms of revenue and profit so i know there is value here. so i question if the company would just shut down the whole operations up here because they would have value in our division. Granted Canada isn't then most oil field friendly place, so i don't doubt that they might not find a buyer.
It’s all smoke and mirrors that 30$ a share price , they have no market share in Canada , well construction is hemorrhageing them in Canada and poorly run to
WFRD is above $30 you fools, enough with the lies!
Pulling out of Aberdeen by the end of 2022. Not cost effective, either is salaries of the pr1ck mangers at BOD
More of the new “normal “..which means squeezing the remaining operators like lemons until the life is squeezed out of them. The management have seen they can make the same amount of money having laid off half the original operational workforce, by basically making the guy’s work double all the while trolling out the same old excuses “you’re lucky to have a job” “we’re looking at hiring more people” etc etc.
That and the absolute disgraceful condition of the equipment which needs maintenance before, during and after job’s making us look like a bunch of incompetent id--ts in the client’s eyes.
The only changes that have happened at Weatherford over the last few years have always been for the worse, and it shows, we’re a shadow of what we once were a few years ago.
Management is still the same, riding the gravy train and being incompetent as usual, losing contracts left right and centre and never being held accountable for any of the mess they’ve caused.
Death by 1000 cuts
Yes more consolidation in manufacturing and closures. Expect to hear WGB, Scott closing soon. Same rumors tired of hearing them.
Its just amazing to me as an employee that wft continues to risk whats left of the company when there is zero chance of recovery.
Ya there’s chatter of there pulling the pin in canada
