I have never worked for a company before as TD that is so dependent on those Strategy Consulting guys. McK now and Bane before that. We are spending thousands of $$ every day. SM and NC are ex-McK. They are just draining money from us with some common-sense "strategy" and taking literally months to deliver any type of content with substance. Unless we get out of the culture of relying on someone for corporate strategy (meaning that we hire ELTs with strong and sound VISION of their own), TD will not succeed. We don't need a McK appointed "Strategy Officer" who needs to read out of a script (and not even good at of that).
Another mistake of having a single C-level leader who oversees both PM and ENG. We already saw it was a total disaster with RP. Why repeat the same mistake? Especially HA does not have enough technical background to be able to make right architectural decisions. I feel that TD has been TOO eager to fill the "female CxO" check box. Don't get me wrong, having female CxOs is great, only if she has the right skillset to lead.
