Offer buy outs for all that want to leave it will be a win win.
I will take my pink slip today. Get me out of Schenectady Power and start over. Seeing how the union does not promote job security for the members, or a pension nor equal pay. It was a done deal 10 years ago. The final nail is half in for Schenectady.
T-Rates can pretty much walk with what they have. There has always been way less incentive to stick around since Day 1 for them. D-Rates however, that's a different story. They were incentivized to not even think about ever leaving. The older D-Rates who are close to retiring in the next 5 years or so will be fine. Those with more years, it'll be nail bitter but will probably be okay. For the D-Rates with 10+ years in, the most junior D-Rates. If you think that 20-30 years from now, everything that the senior D-Rates are getting now as they retire out, will be waiting there for you, then I have the deeds to several ocean front properties in Montana to see you for a bargain price!!
No buy out! just a good ol bye bye
What they do best- nothing!!!!
What is the Hall doing?
Hope they buy us all out. Throw it in an index fund and track the S&P 500.
