Citrix was very good to me in the last layoff, and I might say that getting laid-off was the best thing to happen to me in a long time.
Don't be afraid of the layoff. Sometimes it helps to get pushed out, especially if you know the inevitable will happen; it's an excellent opportunity to use the skills you acquired from Citrix.
Start the process now, get your resume updated, change your linked-in profile and reach out to those friends that have moved on and gotten established in other companies.
I am so glad that I won't have to see my friends leave like I had to witness the past five or more layoffs.
