Climate change: The US state taking on an oil giant for greenwashing

https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-59070451

The question of responsibility for the effects of global warming is - slowly - being tested in court. One case in Massachusetts is using consumer laws to take on oil giant ExxonMobil. If the US state wins, it will be the first case in the world to successfully prosecute a fossil fuel company for greenwashing and misleading the public.

You’re going to live to see the end of this lie, but I don’t expect you to admit you’ve been brainwashed.

The hearings are about fossil fuel companies greenwashing and misleading the public. Or does this not matter to most of you, your children, your grand children? If it does not, then why are you complaining on this site about management's dishonesty and lies?

So now “climate change” is not only beyond any scientific discussion, it’s actually a crime punishable in court. LaLaLand in full swing.

Even horses would “exhaust” methane (a hydrocarbon) to the atmosphere.
So where should we actually begin?

Perhaps only sailing vessels across the sea, or unpowered gliders in the air?
This is getting ridiculous!!

If Massachusetts state government used zero hydrocarbons of any form, then there would be only a very slight legitimacy to this. Even if every vehicle own by that state was a horse and buggy, it would require grease on its axles. Even if every vehicle owned by that state was electric, the car and its batteries are made with hydrocarbon products and the electricity that charges them is primarily hydrocarbon generated.

This appears just a trendy scam to obtain free money for that state and its lawyers at EM expense.
