Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

do you think the same company that escorts loyal employees out the front door with security like common criminals during layoffs is worried

about your health? Pass on the vaccine. We are not a family.

I was a loyal manager and I got tapped, given a shoe box for my personal items and escorted off company property like a common criminal. At least they can't force me to take the unapproved COVID vaccine. Especially since you have no recourse for any health issues it may cause.

UP needs to have a New West Hollywood SD70M locomotive. 1978. The year of the disco! That will attract more LGBQT professionals and The new TEY rail riding professionals.😍😘😉

Companies can be family oriented with loyalty and trust
Union Pacific is not

Why would you think any company is your family? No corporation cares about you personally. Employees are just expendable assets for them to use. Once your value diminishes or they can do away with your position, you will be shown the door. We need to quit thinking about our job in terms of family and see it for what it truly is; business and nothing more.

It is common practice for UP to be rated the worst company to work for every single year

Common practice????
People can be conditioned to accept anything including mask and forced vaccinations.
Give a inch and they take a mile.

The company doesn’t care about you or anyone else. Now, about the vaccine: you should take it for your health and for your family. Forget the stupid political cr-p around this. The vaccines are safe and effective.

No it isn’t common practice at respectable companies unless the employee was fired for cause not layoffs. Some of you losers have Stockholm syndrome.

Security walkouts for terminations is common practice anywhere.
If a company needs to have a security staff, that is certainly one reason.

Nope, they don't care at all. One less employee for them means more money into the investors hands, which is all they ever cared about. The UP isn't in the business of railroading anymore. They're in the business of gender and identity politics now. I hate to say that, but that seems to be the only thing they're talking about anymore. If anyone doubts that, then tell the rest of us of other class 1's that have their version of the rainbow locomotive. I don't know one to be honest.
