So Nelson Peltz invested 2 billion dollars in GE about 4 years ago, and has a member of his firm (Ed Garden) on the board. In that time, he has lost more than 50% of his initial investment. What role and input has this investment firm brought to the table? As far as I'm concerned: nothing. They seem like silent partners that (like the old and some of the new board), have little to offer. I think Peltz & Culp are Pen Pals.

Trian is responsible for LC coming out of retirement and on to the Board. Then the move to CEO. Big moves and Nelson will get a return!
Take it to the bank.
A major owner sold 47.4 million shares… could be Trian. Maybe his recent comments were meant to bump the stock for a major dump.
