Today lady was promoted to lead a department full of engineers. She has a bachelors degree in history for. 3rd rated college. She was chosen over men with engineering degrees from MIT and other Ivy League schools. And people wonder why Qualcomm is no longer a leading edge tech company.

There's a VP initials are RR with a high school diploma. Many Indian guys with fake degrees as well. QC is terrible with their hiring rigor.
No one said every person that was interviewed was on the team only what the pool of candidate qualifications were. And yes, it’s true, there are people with non-technical degrees leading engineering teams…. Although this is getting less common…..
