Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Micro aggressions are our problem

Forget poor quality, a cloud product that’s not elastic, no innovation, flat or declining revenue, and paucity of new customer wins - micro aggressions are our biggest issue. KCC to the rescue!!!!

It’s really bad when our strategy guy is on a site like this looking for answers. He should stop buying analytics, invest in Vantage, and get his answers that way. #connectedhybridmulticloudlegacydatawarehouseplatform

“ The end is near for many but new opportunities are on the horizon!”

Ah yes. The opportunity to get unemployment and look for a better job

Hey Strategy guy, why do you keep posting questions about improving Teradata on this forum?? Too clueless to come up with something on your own? For starters about what I would do in the next six months is to fire you and your McKinsey pals. You are a total waste of money.

Setting aside KCC for a moment, firing the entire ELT might be fun, but would be disastrous externally and internally, with different leadership eventually coming in with their own new changes. 1+ years of loss. We can argue the details, but hopefully most recognize this is true.

With that backdrop, what would you change over the next 6 months?

Micro aggressions are a symptom, not a cause. The cause is a failing business with incompetent, ineffectual management that is grasping at straws. In other words, the source of the aggression is " a cloud product that’s not elastic, no innovation, flat or declining revenue, and paucity of new customer wins ."
