Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Citrix changing to Cutrix

Not 100% but news is that major layoff is being planned and may happen as early as Nov/Dec. The cut will be of the magnitude of ~15% with most of the hit in the US (~1 out of 4 jobs). Nothing surprising here, but this time the information is from a trustworthy source. To all fellow employees, buckle up.

This guy ain’t gonna spare your joberoni… if you catch my drift. The writing is on the wall:

  1. They’re shedding as many employees as possible. The vaccine mandate is round 1, and layoffs will be round 2. It’s not “if” it’s coming — it’s when.
  2. They’ll break up as many pieces as possible and sell them off. Wrike is on the block immediately. Workspace was DOA, so expect that one to wither over the next 12 mos. — a complete failure.
  3. More golden handshakes for the incompetent execs that will drag the company into an inevitable grave.

How sure are you?

I got it from a reliable source. Not 100% sure though. You can take it or leave it. All I can say is there is nothing wrong to be prepared.

#1 Cut in US does not mean that there won’t be hiring in other places. The really necessary jobs eliminated in high cost region, will be filled in cheaper locations in EU and Asia. With everyone remote there are not much advantage of keeping some roles in the US.

#2 Regarding 2015, if you don’t realize already things are much worse now than it was then and these steps are necessary to keep the company floating. 2 years might give a chance to turn things around if managed properly.

Hard to believe it will be that way. Citrix has 9.000 employees, that's the same amount as the last layoff that happened in 2015.
There are several areas with a shortage of people, if they cut 1 out 4 in the US, Citrix will Collapse. Besides that, some people that remain will resign as well.

There is too much radio silence from incompetent management lately.
Something is surely up and it’s probably massive cullings…
