Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Covid is done!!!!

According to JC and his minions as of October 18th Covid is done and you are required to report back to the office! People are Apache’s greatest asset, except when it comes to valuing your health, then they decide what’s best for you!

Lmao, who cares anymore?? The vax rate is above 70% in the US and the only people dying or getting severe cases are antivaxxers. I followed the rules and stayed home and all that but if we aren’t gonna live life NOW, when are we? If we can’t live life NOW, what was the point of a year and a half of BS?

To whomever started this post, based on the current trend seems the answer is employees don't care so why should management.

It’s time to move on. If you’re vaccinated worry about yourself and not others.

so with the new rule making vaccine and testing mandates illegal and no mask mandate at the office, can't wait for covid to return to the office in full force on Monday!

Watch all the administrative departments weasel their way to extend their WFH

I’ve heard of instances where an employee that had been in the office had symptoms, and went for a test. Their contacts were then told to remain home and isolate. Original employee then tests negative and is allowed to return to the office, but the contacts of this person were told to still remain at home. Absolutely 0 logic here.

This is actually very true! I know plenty of people that got WFH for 2 weeks because their kiddo or spouse showed one of the symptoms, even if that person ultimately ended up testing negative. Your manager must hate y’all’s department to risk getting other employees sick if they don’t send you home for this!

To the person who wrote this:

You don’t even have to get covid to wfh. Sick spouse or child with any of the listed symptoms will give you 2 weeks to wfh. It’s easy.

That’s some BS or you must work in some alternate reality company.

Vaccine mandate - HA. We can't even do a mask mandate. And yes being back in the office is not the issue. It is the lack of protocols as dictated by 14.

Covid isn’t going anywhere. We’ve all got to learn to love with it. That means learning to work at offices with people around. I prefer learning to work around people more than I prefer a vaccine mandate, even though I’m vaccinated already lol

its cool - you can get WFM and remote again after you catch covid at the office. See it all works out!

Just don’t even consider going to 14. Gotta protect the elite.

Ask those laid off by W&T how opposing the company's vaccine mandate went!

I mean, it’s obvious that the company has drawn their line in this sand in the issue, rightly or wrongly. You’re going to have to vote with your feet if you can, maybe then you can prove them wrong if enough people are doing the same.
