Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Article about NY closings

I've been trying to get some media articles written, about the 2 new, NY closings, and finally we got one. Look who the author cites, as the source for these closings 😉😁😎:

And, the article OP mentioned, seems to be cited as a source, in the Kmart Wikipedia page. My, everything has come full circle!

Still almost no other coverage of Bronx closing. When Astor closed (as someone mentioned below), there was a ton of coverage. Bronx closed (I was there and it's closed except for the pharmacy which closes Tomorrow, Oct. 7), and there is hardly a mention of it online, in NY media.
Guess literally nobody cared about it.

Why does List Man Jack think he’s so wonderful and keep patting himself on the back? I must admit it’s humorous and entertaining though.

OMG! They actually quoted your screen name from the layoff.com!!! This site has accomplished so much and now you are getting quoted. I almost fell over when I saw that in print.

Thanks again, man, as always. I’m genuinely surprised though, that more major news outlets in NYC, haven’t picked this up yet. After all, there were 2 Kmarts in Bronx, and 50% of them just closed, so I thought it would be a bigger deal. After all, when Astor Place Kmart closed, there were 100 articles. Granted, Bronx is less famous than Manhattan, but still part of NY City.
