Of staying? Our store manager said there is no severance or retention bonus for staying though the closing. Sc--w it, I’ll just leave now, go work at Amazon for $18 an hour, and not deal with the stress of the liquidation sale.

At least some choose to stay because the total lack of functional management oversight and security allows them to supplement their income with merchandise out the back door.
Um, this isn't the Airport. You don't have to announce your departure.
