For a company that was about high end merchandise, it's amateurish how tech is handled. Don't upgrade and this is what you get. Obviously they wanted to hide this event.

Receiving that notice was disappointing to say the least. A data breach 1.5 years ago? And the onlybsuggestion is to check your credit report??? I dont know how many younger shoppers you're getting but older people such as myself really don't like this.
I've made my last purchase.

I’m sure the data was stolen “with love.” (in GVR accent).

I really despise this company. I feel unsafe ever being associated to NM on any way.

He’s very responsible - for his bonus, his benefits and anything else he can grab!

GVR takes responsibility for nothing!

GVR not even taking responsibility for this mess! Communication to customers from David Goubert. GVR ultimately responsible. Taking almost 1.5 years to “discover” and report a serious data breach demonstrates something seriously wrong with NM’s infrastructure, culture and ethics.

This is especially bad for NM as a very high percentage of customers use NM credit card. This happened once before under Katz regime and hurt both sales revenue and confidence in NM reputation. Also expensive to undue the damage. Hard to believe lessons not learned from past mistakes. Also why did it take so long to report this breach publicly? Heads need to roll…
