Your comment on "mental health" was important. Thats the one HUGE thing DST has never cared about - its employees mental well being and happiness. Over the past 40 years - how many millions of hours of unhappiness has DST management caused its staff? I think they feel it makes people work harder - but it does the opposite

A lot of teams have seen 75% or more attrition. Their job postings have 100+ openings, but when has anyone been hired? We are seeing key people resign every week. And the ones who remain are actively interviewing.

It's really crashing down. Customers should really be concerned about their data. All departments have been decimated; qa, support, systems, it's all an enormous load being shouldered by the few that remain. There is no distinction between prod/non prod data now. PII/PHI doesn't matter, it's all being handled by anyone who's available.

Someone called it a dumpster fire, it's past that. This stuff is blowing up in their faces now.

This was a miserable place. It was made clear that they were not interested in you as an employee, they wanted you to complete your project and move on so they could hire your replacement at a lower cost. It is about the numbers only, and you are in their way.

They really cut to the bone with the layoffs. Now the bones are leaving due to low pay, too much work, and no recognition or support from management. If you have 1/10 the man power, how can you realistically expect to get 10/10 of the work? You can't but these fools do. Because anything else would require them to actually do their jobs and Lead or Manage something.
