Toxic Culture Career Wasted

Today I realized that if my boss gives me "busy work" which is never used. I've decided to turn it into a positive to relax and slow down my work pace. I listen to motivational pod casts since I'm excluded from meetings. The company is toxic, management has no ethics and is constantly sued. That sums it up at this Sh-t Show!

How about doing some training so that if they let you go you have new skills to take with you? Or are you actually supposed to do the work you get assigned and are just doing it at a slow pace? Why are you being assigned busy work? Is your area lacking work to do? If so thats not a good sign! If I had free time and was being paid I would spend it on improving me and making myself more money!

Sit back, get paid to do the bare minimum.

Yes, managers are incentivized to not reduce the number employees, because their department risks being combined with another if it shrinks. It shouldn't be a surprise that their loyalty is to themselves, not the company or its employees.
