Is it certain that we'll have no more layoffs this year?

If not, this will be the FIRST year in a long time that TD didn’t lay off their best and brightest. And not because the company is successful, but because people are leaving in droves.

If your exec’s telling you you’re safe, you’re not.

Fastest way to juice stock prices in the short term is to chop senior employees in high cost countries. Will end up costing the company in the long run, but you know the ELT plans to cash out their stock options and be long gone before the collapse. Bottom line, don't assume there won't be more job cuts due to higher than normal attrition this year. At Teradata, the only time you should get excited is when you've found a new job and are typing your resignation letter.

I don't want to get too excited before I know for sure.
