Macys is fighting amazon to keep their sign in herald square their flagship store. i guess loosing this is like loosing the crown ..

This really made me ill. Now, I hate Macy's as much as the next employee. But there is a part of me that's attached to it and the thought of seeing Amazon advertising on that building during the stupid parade makes me sick to my stomach.
If Herald Square is not looking up to par, then not good. We'll see how they make out with the suit. Most of the stores I see newer faces with a mix of old timers. I do see some MMG people from time to time and former Execs and Associates shopping.
It sure looks like it's LOOSING!
I use to work at HSQ and I went to visit last week. Only familiar face there was a vendor merch handler. All the associates on the floor I worked on were either fired or took a severance if they were older workers who've been there since the beginning of time. Guess the union didn't or couldn't help for jack squat. They didn't even bother trying to hide the broken escalators that looked like the workers gave up half way. It was actually pretty sad.
