Thread regarding GE Renewable Energy layoffs

How safe is GERE right now?

I was considering transferring, it'd be nice to know if layoffs are something that happens all the time or just occasionally, every couple of years.

Not safe, moving under power and GERE is a money loser
With GERE and Power splitting off, there is no big GE to prop them up.
Power went through years of cuts, guess where the cuts will come from this time?
