The ELT has messed so much stuff up they actually solved the annual RIF problem. The few smart people left are proactively jumping ship. At least HR won’t have to schedule those awkward last minute meetings to read their layoff script. “So sorry your position has been eliminated”…

I don't know, over many years I thought 'there's no way anyone is expendable right now", and they still figured out how to pull off yet another RIF. It's always shocking, every one of them.
