All depends of the time give it to be ready for the recent local hires, last year layoffs mostly were replaced by 7 years experience locals, real like 2 o 3 years because in some cases counts from college. Of course they can expedite the pace. Don't worries for layoffs, none expat will stay at the long run.
There are a lot of job postings on LinkedIn as well, this sounds contradictory. Then again we are talking about Magic Kingdom, the land of contradictions.

Correct. There are currently two job postings for teachers on the career site. They are hiring, not firing.
