Why doesn't corporates Macys listen?

Why doesn't corporates Macys listen?
if you complain .,have solid evidence or even have a great suggestion corporates macys does not listen to any of the above at all. There could be someone robbing the store left and right or no manager is doing their job and they just ignore it.. why is that? this company is bizzaro !!!!

RF laws becoming more strict? You must be joking? Have you read the news? Target and several pharmacy's in a couple of states are now closing early because of shoplifting. In addition to that some prosecutors are not even charging subjects for shoplifting, PD departments are writing tickets vs processing them at the station.

In some countries facial recognition software is used at employee entrances to make sure that everyone has a friendly "smile" on their face. The system will not allow them to enter until they are "happy". Also, Bio-metric Surveillance Technology is improving rapidly. Some have projected a 34% decrease in shoplifting with this technology. It can process 75 million faces in 1/10 of a second. Enhanced spectral technology might also be used to detect improper actions and behaviors at registers. I am certain that Corporate has heard your concerns and will make corrective actions. Furthermore, I believe that the penalties for retail theft of all kinds will be enhanced in the future. In Iran three teenage boys found guilty of stealing were ordered to have 4 fingers on the right hand cut off. That is a little harsh, but here I would guess that 1 to 2 years of prision time would work wonders.

With all due respect, that attitude may have worked in the past at Macy's. However, times are changing (for better or worse). Macy's needs to have better communication at all levels, otherwise you won't have to worry about being fired for making waves, it will happen as the company continues to close stores. The company needs to become more nimble. A significant portion of the "old guard" Macy's is gone and stores are reorganizing ("integrated teams") to operate with leaner operations at all levels including management. You have newer and younger "new guard" managers coming to your stores. From most of these posts there is really not much to "smile" about. I believe that part of this communication problem may be the result of a sort of 2 tier system of Stores and Corporate. Each striving to protect it's own fiefdoms. I am not sure what is worse, "shady old guard red badges" or "woke new guard red badges". What is needed is just plain old common sense, ethical, red badges.

How exactly do you communicate with Corporate Macy's? Do you know who the real decision makers are? If you are talking to the wrong people you might as well be talking to the "wall"? Sometimes you will get faster results if you talk to the "hand"? More action!
