Every one of their acquisitions were a failure, as they were sold goose eggs by sales, who have no technological knowledge. 2bPrecise was a startup by the heads of dbMotion, so whatever they sold it at they made some money from it, as sure as heck was not getting customers for it.
HealthGrid and dbMotion were two of their biggest overpriced purchases and bust. They are overhauling Healthgrid to use FMH. dbMotion team has been gutted, and only used by customers as they transition out from using Allscripts. Avenel team has been usurped into FMH. It will take the so called next gen EHR at least 10 yrs to be usable. Northwell is keeping Sunrise alive, and Optum is keeping Touchworks\APM alive. One of them will eventually but out the EHR completely. Like HCA did with Meditech.
Speaking of Avenel... What happened to the team hunkered down in the bunker in the middle of nowhere Illinois for the past 7 years.
Wasn't this a big part of the Northwell extension signed almost 2 years ago ?
If they can't deliver this does Northwell bag the relationship and finally go to Epic which could finally put the nail in the coffin ?
2bP was a total failure like Avenel. I'm sure it was given away , if that. Just a hunch .. they cut their losses ... Let it go.
