Disappointing is an understatement for the way General Atomics handled “working from home” and the pandemic, in general. Minimal communication from senior management and HR during the course of 2020. Shocker!
Other companies are receiving constant communication and well executed come back to the office plans keeping the health and safety of employees at their top priority. Not Real Estate. Employees should be treated more than "butts in seats" and not micromanaged by poor leadership.
GA leadership had ample time to come up with a well-executed plan of coming back to the office. Plans that allowed for parents with kids going to school, caring for a family member, flexible work schedules, hybrid work solutions. Not everyone back to the office at once. LACK OF PLANNING!
Stuck in the past, GA should adapt to a new work environment to keep good people who work there.

The last comment came from a GA lifer! People wanted to leave but don’t have the skill set to get another job! Stuck at GA forever bc no one else wants to hire them!
True! Every day the case count goes up and up (there was 10 more cases today alone across all GA facilities). But who gives a cr-p about us employees right??
We got to return to work to make the higher ups happy... well jokes on them. I already know many people looking for other jobs and I may have to join that train soon
Your analogy is not even close to where GA operates your bottom feeder one is far more accurate!
GA has never been able to keep top performers. So asking GA to keep top performers would be out of the norm. GA is just going back to its roots! Being the 99 cent store of the areospace industry has allow GA to grow! Thinking GA can win against the big boys would be asking GA to work in a space it has never even competed in.
Amen!
