There was a time when people were clamoring to work at Qualcomm. There was a concentrated effort to draw in the best, and the best were happy to come work here. That is now distant history. Now, the goal seems to be to get rid of the best because they're too expensive and attract the cheapest. This company took a sharp turn for the worse.

sharp turn? It's been in the mud for awhile.......
Why nobody talks about QCA? Does this mean QCA is a good place to go?
Bio tech is blowing up in San Diego! One does not have to leave San Diego to find a great career…. But instead of making d-mb videos where girls show their bu-ts or people make 10 sec videos… one will be invented next generation surgical procedure machines, inventing bionic arms, legs, etc… but some people just like 10 sec videos too much!
@5lqy is spot on. San Diego is one of the finest cities in the US, and this is coming from someone who has been to almost every major city in the US. Qualcomm is a commodity, as my useless manager said. He told me straight that if I want to innovate then this company is not the place for me, it is a commodity, and I have to look somewhere else if innovation is my goal. Sad to be leaving San Diego soon, but that is all about it.
San Diego is CA’s Florida without the humidity. After Qualcomm, where will you go?
Yes. Vax-adverse, mask adverse, plus you still use Expedition for pcb layout. None of your customers who matter use that.
San Diego suck? Obviously people are on dr-gs! Sam Diego is awesome.. Qualcomm is no longer an innovate company. Qualcomm is a commodity company and hires a commodity workforce. It’s just the way it is! No one is dying to leave FB or Google to work at a leading edge tech company named Qualcomm. But there are people trying to leave 2nd rate engineering colleges or 2nd tier chip manufacturing companies that see Qualcomm as a viable option
When did they have the best? Since 2006 I've seen nothing but rampant nepotism hires from below average schools.
cough San Diego sucks. cough
